Overview

The CDI ARID-Dry MS 7500/6500 is a portable desiccant dehumidifier designed for temporary industrial moisture control. It provides process airflow rates of 6,500 to 7,500 SCFM and uses active desiccant technology for low dew point drying. Standard operation uses electric reactivation, with optional configurations available for natural gas or propane. The unit includes 20″ duct collars for supply, return, and reactivation airflow.

Construction features include a stainless steel, double-wall insulated cabinet and a structurally certified stacking cage. Viton wiper seals are rated for 10 years, and the desiccant wheel operates with a full-perimeter chain drive system. The MS 7500/6500 includes removable 2″ MERV 8 filters and is equipped with backward-incline, non-overloading fans. Electrical features include Cam-style power connections, circuit breaker protection, and a NEMA 3R control panel. Remote humidistat capability is built in. Unit moves by forklift using built-in tube pockets. Approximate weight is 3,600 lbs. Operates on 460V / 3-phase power.
